Membership Eligibility

You are eligible for membership in the Cleveland/Bradley County Teachers Federal Credit Union if you meet the following requirement:


As stated in the By Laws of our charter, the field of membership is: Employees of the Department of Education who work in Bradley County, Tennessee; employees of the Credit Union, employees of Tennessee Christian Academy or Lee University; members of their immediate families; and organizations of such persons.

"Members of their immediate families" includes parents, grandparents, husband, wife, children, grandchildren, brothers, and sisters. A minimum deposit of $25.00 is required to open your Share (savings) account. Once you have this account you are a member of the Credit Union and become eligible for ALL of our benefits and services.


To establish your membership, you must come in to fill out and sign all applicable forms, along with anyone else you want as a joint member on your account. These requirements are due to the US Patriot Act, for Credit Unions along with all other financial institutions to verify all information including, name, address, date of birth and other information that will allow us to identify you and any other additional persons included on your account. We will also ask to see your driver’s license or other photo ID. We ask for your understanding as we work to support the efforts to maintain the security of your funds and our homeland security.
